A very dramatic fluted and scalloped dinner plate from Wade (England) in the Harvest Ware shape. I believe the pattern is called "Cretonne," and features a floral center on a tan body, with gold band and trim on the scalloped rim.
The heavy plate measures 10-1/8 inches wide across the middle. It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing, and no utensil marks or scratches. The floral decal design has a bit of wear (see last photos, closeups). The gold trim is 99% intact (very little signs of use or wear).

he bottom has a couple of marks. There is a red and green mark for "Wade | "Cretonne" | England." The larger second mark is "Harvest Ware | Wade England."
