Vintage Wade Pottery of England - Paisley Blue Teapot - circa 1940s
Teapot measures approximately 6-3/8 inches tall to top of knob, 9 inches spout to handle, and 5-1/2 inches wide through body of teapot
This teapot with the Wades Heath England A back stamp has no chips or repairs, but does have crazing throughout and some staining on inside of teapot - see photos
The "Wades Heath England A" back stamp indicates a manufacture date between 1942 - 1949
Teapot seems to have a green number "4" on the bottom - please see photo #10
"Wade Pottery is made by the Wade Group of Potteries started in 1810 near Burslem, England. Several potteries merged to become George Wade & Son Ltd. early in the twentieth century, and other potteries have been added through the years."
