Bringing Convection Oven Preheating Performance to the Benchtop. Dual Zone (Ramp/Soak) Preheating The
Pace HS200 Heat Wave
provides temperature-controlled preheating of any electronic assembly. The internal blower delivers heated air which brings the assembly up to the desired temperature at a user-defined ramp rate. When the blower stops at the user-set time, radiant convection maintains the soak temperature of the circuit board. Dual-zone preheating prevents damage to substrates and components due to moisture, thermal shock, and board warpage.The standard, adjustable board holder allows convenient handling and support during rework procedures. Convective or Conductive Preheating For convective applications, the plate heats the air as it flows through, safely preheating any workpiece, even boards with irregular surfaces. Alternatively, for conductive applications, the hot plate transfers heat directly to the workpiece. Custom plates can be designed for both convective and conductive applications.
