This came from the estate of Hugh Cardin here in Hendersonville TN - a childhood friend of Conway Twitty. Hugh was hired to run the organization in the mid 1960’s.
There is some writing on the end flap of the shipping box that indicates that this is the Only one made. I have not been able to confirm that but in my searches - I have not been able to find another like it.
Includes the original gift box with gold foil and the original shipping box.
I don’t believe that it was used or displayed.
I don’t see any damage or wear on the clock itself. There are some marks on the foil as shown - likely from sliding it in and out of the shipping box. There is also wear to the shipping box and some light moisture stains - nothing horrible.
The clock has been tested and works.
Measures about 10-7/8” wide, 22-7/8” tall and 3/4” thick.
Will be carefully packaged to arrive safely.
No reserve on this auction.
