    Features:
    1.Fit for GM LS1, LS2, LS3, LS7, LSA and LS9 V8 engines utilize front and rear seals with Teflon inner sealing lips. For proper seal function and longevity it is critical that the seals be aligned perfectly concentric to the front diameter on the balancer hub and rear sealing surface on.
    2.On the LS engine, the oil pan is a stressed member and adds to block rigidity. For this reason, it can't simply be slapped in place; along with the front and rear engine covers, it must be carefully aligned with the block.
    Instructions:
    This tool mimics the balancer to center the cover on the front seal OR locates on the ID of the seal bore in the cover without the seal installed.
    Note:
    You will have to exercise care to align horizontally the cover to the oil pan.
    Installation of front cover:
    (no seal installed in Front cover):
    1.Loosely install the front cover
    2.Install the seal tool over the snout of the crankshaft using the large end
    3.Check the alignment to the oil pan
    4.Tighten the front cover bolts to specifications
    5.Install the balancer lip seal
