Here we have a beautiful early model fine quality pottery green GLUGGLE JUG (wide mouth fish pitcher) made by
Dartmouth
Pottery from Devon, England [a.k.a. Glug Glug or Gurgle Jug...due to the noise it makes when pouring liquid.] It measures approx. 9-1/2" high x 6" long x 3-3/4" wide, can hold up to 32 ounces. It is in excellent maintained (barely/lightly used) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted...appearing to have had little or no use, displayed in curio cabinet/hutch.

The bottom is marked, "DARTMOUTH ~ DEVON ~ ENGLAND." Came from a well cared for private home collection of some years, however the exact age for this jug is unknown, production run 1947-2002 (shortly there after, WADE Ceramics took over and continued producing the Gluggle Jug...with its WADE mark.) This item weighs approx. 2 lbs., add 2-1/2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
