Crystal Selector Stand-Alone Unit CRYSTALINER MONITOR PROD. CO. 1940's Rare!

Description

Offered is the Crystaliner Monitor Products Co. Crystal Selector.  This is a stand-alone unit with a selector switch for an array of 12 crystals.  The 12-Crystals are included, all originals by Monitor. The unit is clean overall, with light surface rust on the chassis and front. There is grime on the front, but it is not too severe.  Controls are as follows:  Attenuate and Modulate-the corresponding switches appear original.  Two switches are mounted above-these two appear to be added-one of these appears to be for power and the other connects one of the socket pins to a chassis bus.  The rotary switch rotates freely. The dial on the front is marked off as follows:  EXT, 175, 262, 370, 455, 465, 600, 1400, 1500, 1700 and 1000. The power cord is cut off. There is no housing. View the photos carefully. These units do not come up for bidding too often.  The Crystaline Company didn't produce many pieces, but the ones they cranked out were stylish. Nice chrome and red accents and a dark grey front. The adjustment knob appears to be an original.  Pick up the crystal switch for your own rig or collection.  The front is 8 X 7 inches in size,  chassis is 5 inches in depth. Heavy and well-made.
