will retract with over 20 oz hanging from it

I bought several of these to use with my Scuba diving equipment & have more than I need.
Can be used for flashlights, scissors, knifes, SPG, Dive computers ect.
The clips will work on up to 7/32" diameter rings. ( not quite 1/4")
I will ship it in a padded mailer.
